In "Die Königin der Korsaren," Conan, Zula, and Belit infiltrate the decadent city of Luxor on a desperate mission to rescue Neftha. After restoring her to her rightful throne, they find themselves betrayed by the very queen they saved—forced to flee the city as enemies close in from all sides.

In "Die Dämonen der Nebelberge," Conan and a surviving companion flee the treachery of the Khozgari after a failed mission, taking with them Shanya, the daughter of a Khozgari chief. Forced to cross the perilous Misty Mountains, they are ambushed by the Demons of the Summit—twisted creatures dwelling in the high peaks. As their companion falls, Shanya is captured by Shangara, the leader of the summit people, who intends to claim her as a mate for himself and his son. Conan must now navigate the deadly heights and ancient horrors to reclaim her before it’s too late.
