Conan the Barbarian #91
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom the swampy depths of 1978 Marvel Comics, issue #91 plunges Conan and Bélit — as the cover itself announces — back toward the Black Corsairs, but first they have a very immediate problem: a seething pack of giant swamp rats closing in from every direction. John Buscema's cover pencils and inks capture the chaos vividly, with a bare-chested Conan wrestling one massive rodent while Bélit, blades drawn, faces down the swarming horde among twisted, moss-draped trees. Roy Thomas's scripting and John Buscema's interior art (inked by Ernie Chan) promise that "Savage Doings in Shem!" lives up to every bit of that cover's wild, breathless energy.
