In the middle of his autopsy, Boone wakes up, escapes the morgue, and heads back to Midian. Lori decides to head to Midian to see where Boone was shot, and discovers strange people living there called the Night Breed. Decker, the real serial killer, tracks her to Midian and murders Lori's friend. As he tries to murder Lori, Boone arrives and saves her, and takes her to the depths of the Nigh Breed's home to recover. After Boone leave with Lori, he is set up again by Decker for even more murders, and is arrested.
