Dr. Philip Decker is a soft-spoken psychiatrist concealing a murderous secret life as a masked serial killer. He manipulates his patient Aaron Boone, framing him for his own crimes while pursuing a deadly obsession with Midian, the hidden sanctuary of the Nightbreed.

Straight from the nightmare corridors of Clive Barker's imagination, Dr. Philip Decker made his comics debut in Marvel's Clive Barker's Night Breed #1 in 1990, brought to the page by the formidable creative team of Alan Grant, John Wagner, and Jim Baikie. A product of the Copper/Modern Age, when horror was pushing hard against the boundaries of mainstream comics, Decker haunts a series populated by some genuinely unsettling company — Aaron Boone, Narcisse, and the enigmatic Rachel among them. His five catalogued appearances are few, but in a short-lived series this dark and distinctive, every issue counts.
