Ultragirl
Suzy Sherman is a young woman who discovers her extraordinary physical abilities stem from Kree ancestry, granting her superhuman strength, speed, and flight. She registers under the Superhero Registration Act and joins the Avengers Initiative training program, eager to prove herself among Marvel's next generation of heroes.
Burst onto the scene in 2006 courtesy of Dan Slott and Paul Smith in She-Hulk #8, Ultragirl is a Modern Age Marvel creation who quickly found her footing in some of the publisher's most event-driven corners of the universe. Her appearances across Avengers: The Initiative, Civil War Chronicles, and Fear Itself: Youth in Revolt place her squarely in the thick of Marvel's big, consequential storytelling moments of the late 2000s and early 2010s. She shares her adventures with a compelling roster of characters β Tigra, Greer Nelson, Vance Astrovik, and Justice among them β suggesting she runs in circles where legacy and heroism carry real weight. For readers who love discovering the energetic, scrappier figures who populate Marvel's Initiative era, Ultragirl is a rewarding find.
