Four hundred million coma victims are found to have been born from October 23 to November 21. Kenn flies home to find his daughter in a coma. Oddly, a topaz birthstone he brought moves to the bosom of a golden king in a drawing. Kenn informs the Challengers the comas may be blocked psychic energy. They order every victim be given a topaz chip on their chest. Atop the biggest topaz deposit in the US, they create a mock topaz-man with Kenn's daughter in the center. As they join hands, power ripples to the topazes on every coma victim. Prince Topaz bursts free, vanishes, and the victims awake.
