Cerebus #161
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart of the sprawling "Mothers & Daughters" saga, this August 1992 issue from Aardvark-Vanaheim presents one of the arc's most unsettling covers: a skeletal, corpse-like figure draped in a dark cloak looms against a star-filled void, a golden chain and ornate pendant hanging across its exposed ribcage. The cover pencils and inks by Dave Sim and Gerhard give this ghastly apparition a remarkable texture — bleached bone rendered with eerie detail against the cold, glittering cosmos. "Flight 11" continues the long-form ambition that made Cerebus one of independent comics' most talked-about ongoing series in 1992.
