“Reborn Prologue”
About this Collection

Collecting the 2010 miniseries that brought Steve Rogers back from the dead, this volume follows the original Captain America's return after the events of his assassination. The story pits him against the Red Skull and Norman Osborn's Dark Reign, with time-travel elements and a race to reclaim his legacy from a twisted impostor. Ed Brubaker writes, with art by Bryan Hitch and Butch Guice, resolving the long-running mystery of Steve's fate while setting the stage for his reinstatement as Captain America.

In "Reborn Prologue," Steve Rogers faces his most personal battle yet, confronting the Red Skull in a mental showdown that pushes him to his limits. Written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Bryan Hitch, with inks by Butch Guice and colors by Paul Mounts, this pivotal issue sets the stage for a dramatic rebirth—where victory comes at a cost, and the scars of war run deep. The cover, by Bryan Hitch and Butch Guice, captures the intensity of a turning point in the fight for freedom.
