At the Hartwick Television Station, the programming director needs fresh ideas and new camera angles, leading to a scheme where someone will sneak up and photograph Ted when he's not looking—a natural, candid shot. Candy ends up at an exclusive dress salon carrying Paris originals and encounters a shoplifter, whom she pursues. She loses the suspect but later spots the girl at a soda fountain. When Candy mentions meeting the shoplifter, her friend Weepy becomes jealous, suspecting this innocent-looking girl is after him. Candy's friends help Weepy wash dishes at a diner, and he later accidentally spills goulash on the boss while trying to get back in time for a dance date with Candy, leading to comedic chaos at the restaurant.
Jonesy's jealousy over Carol's date with his pal Weepy spirals into chaos when the two end up at Dooley's Diner, where Weepy is working the evening shift. What starts as sibling rivalry at the restaurant quickly devolves into sabotage, mishaps, and a brawl that leaves Mr. Dooley's establishment in shambles and Weepy with a heap of cleanup—and revenge—on his mind.
