Quality Comics' long-running teen humor series brings Candy poolside for this January 1955 issue, where "America's Favorite Teen-Age Girl" is visibly scandalized — her jaw dropping as she protests to a blonde girlfriend about the nerve of hiring a woman lifeguard, while the poised, confident lifeguard in question sits serenely on her elevated chair above the swim lanes, perfectly unbothered.
