Candy #23
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA picnic gone wonderfully wrong — that's the charm of this Quality Comics gem from August 1951. The cover finds Candy holding her picnic basket with exasperated confidence, insisting to the wide-eyed, scrambling Ted that her sandwiches aren't that bad, while a snorting bull charging across their blanket suggests Ted may have a perfectly valid second reason to flee. It's light, laugh-out-loud teen humor at its most endearing, with bright, energetic linework that makes this 10-cent slice of 1950s comic fun hard to resist.
