The milestone 25th issue of Cable arrives with a striking Simone Bianchi and Andrea Silvestri cover that says it all: a determined Deadpool looms large in the foreground, katanas raised wide, while Cable stands behind him cradling an infant — a cybernetic arm and X-symbol belt buckle marking him unmistakably — with the cold expanse of space stretching out around them. The story title "Two Mutants & a Baby" promises exactly the kind of unlikely, high-stakes partnership this cover delivers visually. Duane Swierczynski, Paco Medina, Juan Vlasco, and Edgar Delgado round out a creative team that made this 2010 series one of Marvel's more adventurous team-up books.
