Cable towers over a war-torn landscape, draped in ammunition and armed with a massive rifle, his cybernetic eye blazing with energy — while Deadpool crouches in the rubble below, pistol in hand and katana on his back, every bit the scrappy merc in red. Mark Brooks's cover for this second chapter of "A Murder in Paradise" perfectly captures the uneasy alliance at the heart of Nicieza and Zircher's series, with two very different powerhouses sharing the same shattered ground. It's a striking 2005 Marvel package that makes a compelling case for picking up both parts of this arc.
