Cable #24
In "Homecoming Conclusion, Chapter Eight: The Battle of Central Park," Cable and Hope race through time to confront a dire threat, their journey taking them from the ruins of a distant future to the streets of the late 1980s. With Bishop stranded in a shattered 7th millennium and Cable rearming at a forgotten cache, the stakes rise as they prepare for one final leap. Written by Duane Swierczynski and brought to life by Denys Cowan’s dynamic art, with Sandu Florea’s inks, Pete Pantazis’s colors, and Joe Caramagna’s lettering, the issue builds tension with a gritty, grounded energy. Marko Djurdjević’s cover captures the moment’s intensity, a striking image of a battle already underway.
