Cuthbert Cat schemes to split the prize money from the county fair boxing tournament, convincing his reluctant pal Marmaduke Mouse to challenge Maxie Bear, the heavyweight champion, for a hundred-dollar payoff. After intense training, Marmaduke steps into the ring—but his strategy to survive three rounds takes an unexpectedly creative turn as he faces off against the much larger champ.
