Batman recoils in apparent horror as a skeletal figure wearing Robin's unmistakable red-and-green costume lunges toward him on Brian Bolland's deeply unsettling cover for this October 2003 issue. The grinning skull and bony limbs clad in that familiar tunic create a genuinely striking visual tension between the bright, cheerful colors of the Boy Wonder's outfit and the macabre form wearing it. Scott Beatty's "Knights Passed Part Two: Body of Evidence," with interior art by Roger Robinson and John Floyd, promises a story as haunting as its cover suggests.
