This September 2003 issue of Batman: Gotham Knights leads with a vibrant Brian Bolland cover rendered in a retro style, depicting Batgirl front and center — red-haired, smiling, and clutching a Bat-emblazoned book — while Batman strides in from the left and Robin leaps in from the right, all three figures bursting forward with infectious energy.
