B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth #13

The title says it all — End of Days — and Laurence Campbell's cover delivers on that promise with a towering, skull-faced dark figure whose glowing blue skeleton markings dominate a ruined cityscape, while a serpentine monster looms from the upper right and a strange multi-fingered hand reaches out against a pale moon above. A B.P.R.D. airship and a multi-lensed mechanical vehicle lurk in the smoky background, suggesting the Bureau is still out there, outgunned but not out of the fight. Spinning out of the pages of Hellboy, this 2016 volume from Mike Mignola and John Arcudi feels like an apocalypse that's been carefully, grimly earned.
