In "The Pacific Overlords Part V: Operation: Overlords," the Avengers West Coast face off against the megalomaniacal Dr. Demonicus, who’s turned a Pacific island into a self-proclaimed nation. With Hawkeye, USAgent, Spider-Woman, and Sunfire leading the charge—and Living Lightning turning on Demonicus—the team fights to free their captured teammates and dismantle the Pacific Overlords’ regime. Just as they’re about to claim victory, the U.N. unexpectedly recognizes Demonicus’s new nation, forcing the AWC to retreat.
