“Potion Problems”

In "Potion Problems," Mr. Weatherbee’s new hairpiece becomes the talk of Riverdale—much to his dismay when the teachers mock it. Archie, ever the well-meaning prankster, tries to boost the principal’s spirits by orchestrating a wave of admiration from the girls, but things take an unexpected turn when Mr. Weatherbee realizes the situation is getting a little too intense. Written by George Gladir and illustrated by Bob Bolling, with inks by Jim DeCarlo and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1976 classic captures the humor and heart of Archie’s world in a 30-cent comic.
