About this Collection

This digest-sized collection reprints a selection of classic Archie Comics stories from the 1960s and 1970s, featuring the familiar antics of Archie Andrews, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, and the rest of the Riverdale gang. The volume gathers lighthearted tales of teenage mischief, romance, and schoolyard humor, originally published across various Archie titles. It's part of a series of digest reprints aimed at introducing new readers to the timeless charm of the Archie universe.

In "What a Revolting Development," Archie finds himself caught in a sweater-sized crisis when both Betty and Veronica gift him the same matching sweater—each expecting him to wear it with her at the mall. With no clear way out, Archie’s frantic wardrobe changes in the restroom draw the wrong kind of attention from a suspicious security guard. Written by George Gladir and brought to life with vibrant energy by Stan Goldberg, Bob Smith, Barry Grossman, and Jack Morelli, this lighthearted holiday mishap features Dan DeCarlo’s classic cover art.

Looking forward to a stress-free Christmas, Archie is in a bind when both Betty and Veronica buy him a matching sweater and each wants him to wear his matching sweater with her at the mall. He keeps going into the bathroom to change depending in which girl is near, but a mall security guard thinks he's shoplifting.
