Archie's Pal Jughead Comics #98

A pizza delivery has gone hilariously sideways on the cover of this November 1997 issue, as a bewildered delivery person holds three Domino's Pizza boxes and asks who ordered the strained peas and carrots pizzas — a question that leaves Jughead looking suspiciously evasive by the front door while a small blonde girl sits on the floor nearby, seemingly unfazed by the whole affair. Rex W. Lindsey's cover art captures that warm, goofy Riverdale humor perfectly, with expressive characters and a setup that practically begs you to read the story inside. With Craig Boldman writing and Rex Lindsey handling both pencils and inks, this is a fun slice of Jughead's world — pun very much intended.
