Archie's Pal Jughead #123
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeIn "The Article," Jughead finds himself tangled in a misunderstanding when a boy asks Veronica for directions—only for Archie to misread the moment and launch into an exaggerated, over-the-top praise of Veronica that unintentionally draws the boy’s attention. Written by Frank Doyle and brought to life with crisp, expressive art by Samm Schwartz, this 1965 classic captures the humor and heart of small-town high school life in a 12-cent comic.
In "The Article," Jughead stumbles upon a piece about people who seem to attract mishaps, just as Archie starts experiencing a string of bizarre accidents. Betty, convinced Archie is one of those unlucky souls, takes it upon herself to follow him closely—determined to be ready with first aid the moment he tumbles, trips, or otherwise meets his next mishap.
In "Switch Witch," Jughead finds himself caught in a spell that flips his usual romance with food—this time, he’s suddenly smitten with just one girl: a teenage witch who’s got her own plans. When Reggie shows up, the witch decides Jughead’s too much of a distraction, so he cleverly convinces her to turn him into a woman-hater instead.
