Archie's Madhouse #66
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom February 1969 comes this cheerful installment of Archie's Madhouse, re-titled Mad House Ma-Ad Jokes for its all-new humor format, with cover art by Gus Lemoine and Jon D'Agostino. The cover delivers three gag panels packed with goofy charm: a dog barking "Woof Woof" at a fish tank while a blonde girl explains to a dark-haired boy that it's a catfish; a band of robot musicians billed as "The Robots" promising "the ultimate in electrical instruments"; and a giant turtle sporting a turtleneck sweater sending a hapless fellow fleeing in alarm. It's a wonderfully silly snapshot of late-'60s Archie humor, priced at just 12 cents and loaded with the kind of wholesome, groan-worthy gags that made this series a genuine delight.
