Archie's Madhouse #23
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThat barbershop deal sounds too good to be true — and judging by the cover of this December 1962 issue, it just might be. Samm Schwartz illustrates the gag perfectly: a cheerful blond teenager sits relaxed in the barber's chair while two bewildered, bald barbers work on him simultaneously, scissors and comb at the ready, with a sign promising "Two Haircuts for the Price of One." It's the kind of absurdist, lighthearted humor that made Archie's Mad House such a fun corner of the Archie line, and Joe Edwards brings that same spirit to the interior stories within.
