Archie Comics Spectacular: Block Party #[nn]
In "Fair Play," the Archies are enlisted to bring some modern flair to one of Mr. Lodge’s high-society soirées, only to be outfitted in wildly impractical, eye-popping mod costumes by the eccentric Mrs. Lodge’s chosen decorator. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Harry Lucey with inks by Marty Epp, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 2015 issue captures the band’s charm and comedic struggle as they try to rock the party while wrestling with their dazzling, distracting outfits. The cover, by Fernando Ruiz and Jon D'Agostino, perfectly captures the zany spirit of the event.
