Jughead bites into a jelly doughnut with predictably messy results — sending a spectacular purple splatter straight into Archie's face — on this delightfully slapstick cover by penciler Stan Goldberg and inker Henry Scarpelli. Archie's wide-eyed, jam-splattered reaction, set against a doughnut shop menu board listing every tempting flavor, perfectly captures the cheerful chaos these two best friends always seem to find themselves in. This 1997 digest packs in plenty of Riverdale fun at a satisfying value.
