“The Great Switcheroo!”

Archie and Veronica are nose-to-nose in a heated battle of the sexes on Gisèle Lagacé's cover for this 2012 issue, with Archie insisting boys have it easy while Veronica fires right back — and judging by Jughead munching away in the background and Betty cradling a black cat with a knowing smile, not everyone is equally invested in the argument. The cover tagline "Boys vs Girls and Girls vs Boys!" sets up "The Great Switcheroo!" as a lively clash of perspectives with the whole Riverdale gang along for the ride.

When the gang fights about which gender has it easiest, Salem casts a spell on Riverdale switching everyone's genders. Next, we see a normal day with the gang switched around. Sabrina eventually reverses the spell by raining magic dust on the gang at a concert.
