Forced to trade sun and sand for a questionable assignment, he stumbles into a surprise turn as a judge at a beachside beauty pageant—much to his own bewilderment. Written by George Gladir and brought to life with vibrant energy by Stan Goldberg (art), Bob Smith (inks), Barry Grossman (color), and Jack Morelli (lettering), this 2007 issue captures the charm and chaos of Riverdale with a classic, lighthearted twist. The cover by Stan Goldberg and Bob Smith perfectly frames the moment’s absurdity.
