A cuckoo clock chimes at just the right moment on Stan Goldberg and Henry Scarpelli's charming cover for this May 1997 issue — tiny figures pop out as a silver-haired gentleman in a red blazer reacts with a knowing "My! My! Would you look at the time!" while a flustered Veronica and a sheepish Archie look equally caught off guard below him. The timing gag sets a perfectly breezy tone for the interior story, "Very Important Package," written by Mike Pellowski with art by the same Goldberg and Scarpelli team.
