A perfectly charming slice of small-town fun from 1963, this issue finds Archie crouched intently over a circle of marbles on the ground while a disapproving Veronica — hands on hips — delivers the cover's deadpan punchline: "Archie, have you lost all your marbles?" A small crowd of younger kids clutching their own marble bags looks on with amusement, making the whole scene feel like a warm summer afternoon in Riverdale. Bob White's clean, expressive linework captures the humor beautifully, and the interior story "Cave Man Casanova" by Frank Doyle and Harry Lucey promises more of the easygoing comedy that made this series a staple of early '60s comics.
