“Toney Phonies!”

In "Toney Phonies!", Archie finds himself caught between two very different social scenes when Veronica reveals she’s hosting a fancy catered party on the same night Archie, Betty, and Jughead are planning a simple backyard barbeque. With Jughead and Betty reluctantly tagging along to Veronica’s event, the trio quickly finds the snooty crowd more than they bargained for—leading to a much more down-to-earth (and delicious) reunion in Betty’s yard. George Frese’s art brings the classic Riverdale antics to life, while Samm Schwartz’s cover captures the moment the plans go hilariously off track.

When Veronica sees Archie helping Betty and Jughead tidy up the yard to prepare for next week's barbeque, Veronica suddenly reveals that she has a catered affair scheduled for the same night. Jughead and Betty reluctantly attend the party with Archie, but Veronica's snobby friends are so condescending that eventually all three end up having a wiener roast in Betty's back yard.
