Alpha Flight #82

Part two of the "Quest for Northstar" arc finds Alpha Flight in the most unexpected of realms — Asgard itself. John Byrne's cover captures the chaos brilliantly: a massive armored warrior dominates the center as a woman in yellow strikes back against a horde of axe-wielding Asgardian soldiers, while a blue-furred figure battles at ground level, a terrified woman recoils to the left, and a child in a pink shirt scrambles into the fray. With James D. Hudnall writing and John Calimee on interior art, this 1990 Marvel issue delivers mutants-versus-Norse-mythology mayhem that makes the "Mutants in Asgard!" cover blurb feel entirely earned.
