In "Part II: The Civil War of the Legion!" from Adventure Comics #333 (1965), the clash between Atlanteans and Kryptonians reaches a breaking point—until Brainiac 5 uncovers the reason Earth's atmosphere harms the Atlanteans and devises a way to help them adapt to life beneath the waves. Back in the future, Superboy continues his search, unearthing new artifacts that deepen the mystery of the Kryptonians' fate.
