Legion of Super-Heroes: The Silver Age Omnibus #2
In "The Bizarro-Legion!", the Legion of Super-Heroes fractures after the ghostly Ferro Lad commands their dissolution, leaving Superboy to confront a hidden enemy—the Controller, who orchestrated the Sun-Eater's attack and seeks to weaponize the Legion. When a mysterious force answers Superboy’s call through his flight ring, it unleashes a terrifying disruption that drives the Controller to his demise. Written by Jim Shooter and illustrated by Shooter and Curt Swan, with inks by George Klein and letters by Milton Snapinn, this story unfolds with a chilling blend of psychological tension and cosmic dread, all rendered in the classic style of the Silver Age. The cover, by Evan "Doc" Shaner, captures the eerie intensity of the moment.
