The Forestry Service calls upon Superboy to rescue a couple surrounded by fire and trapped on their roof. He stays around and gives further assistance while monitoring the suspect activities of Paul "Jinx" Blakeston. But it transpires that timberland owner Maxon was responsible, in an attempt to burn out his rivals.
