Giannis Milonogiannis

Giannis Milonogiannis was born on December 11, 1988, in Maryland, but grew up on the Greek island of Crete. He first gained attention in the American comics market with his English-language webcomic *Old City Blues*, which was later collected in print by Archaia. From 2012 to 2016, he worked as a co-plotter and artist on Brandon Graham's relaunch of Extreme Studios' *Prophet*, a series that became his most recognized credit. His clean, expressive linework and skill as both an artist and colorist defined the book's futuristic, organic aesthetic. Milonogiannis also contributed to *Prophet: Earth War*, *Ronin Island*, *All-New Ultimates*, and *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything*. Later in his career, he worked on DC's *Future State: Gotham*. Over a decade of activity, he has been credited on 48 issues as artist, colorist, inker, or writer. His work is noted for its dynamic storytelling and integration of digital and traditional techniques. Milonogiannis remains an influential figure in independent and mainstream comics, with a style that bridges European and American influences.
