Bebop and Rocksteady are living up to their series title in spectacular fashion on this 2016 IDW cover — the warthog and rhino mutants loom large atop a massive, skull-strewn creature alongside what appears to be a chaotic tangle of Turtles, bandaged and battered, all caught up in an anything-goes dimensional brawl. Nick Pitarra's cover artwork is wonderfully dense and kinetic, packing in giant monsters, mutant mayhem, and wild creature designs that feel genuinely unhinged in the best possible way. With a creative team including Ben Bates, Dustin Weaver, Sophie Campbell, Giannis Milonogiannis, and colorist Bill Crabtree bringing the interior to life, this miniseries clearly has no shortage of ambition or anarchic energy.
