Thunderwing is a Decepticon warrior who first appeared in the Marvel Transformers comic as a formidable, power-hungry villain whose ambition and threat level was so extreme it drew the direct attention of Optimus Prime himself.

Few villains in Transformers comics history have cast as long a shadow as Thunderwing, who burst onto the scene in The Transformers #62 in 1990, conjured by the legendary creative partnership of Simon Furman and Geoff Senior right at the cusp of the Modern Age.
