Who is Serifan?

Serifan is a New God from New Genesis and a member of the Forever People, a group of young idealists who traveled to Earth in search of peace and to oppose Darkseid's forces. Beneath his Old West persona lies a subtle telepathic sensitivity most never notice.

Born from Jack Kirby's cosmic imagination at the dawn of the Bronze Age, Serifan made their debut in The Forever People #1 (1971) β€” one of the King's landmark Fourth World titles that rewired what DC Comics could be. A fixture of the Forever People corner of the DC Universe, Serifan has shared adventures alongside Beautiful Dreamer, Mark Moonrider, Big Bear, and Vykin the Black, as well as crossing paths with the likes of Green Lantern. With a presence stretching across fifty years of DC history and an entry in the Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe, Serifan is a genuine piece of Kirby mythology β€” compact in total appearances but rich in cosmic significance, and well worth seeking out for any collector who loves the wild, visionary era when the King was building new worlds.
