Overlord
A villain operating within the G.I. Joe universe during Devil's Due Publishing's early 2000s run, Overlord moves in dangerous company alongside Cobra Commander and other major threats facing the Joe team.
Emerging from Devil's Due Publishing's early 2000s stewardship of the G.I. Joe universe, Overlord made their Modern Age debut in G.I. Joe #22 (2003), courtesy of creators Josh Blaylock and Brandon Badeaux. This is a character who moves in genuinely dangerous company — sharing pages with Cobra Commander, Snake-Eyes, and the likes of Conrad S. Hauser and Shana O'Hara across G.I. Joe and G.I. Joe: Frontline. The run may be compact, but any figure who consistently occupies the same corners as the franchise's heaviest hitters is worth a second look for devoted Joe collectors hunting the full Devil's Due era.
