No-Girl
No-Girl is a Marvel mutant whose disembodied mind exists without a physical body, essentially a floating brain in a jar. She debuted among the Xavier School's students, her unsettling existence making her one of the more unusual members of the mutant community.
A quietly unsettling presence in Marvel's Modern Age mutant landscape, No-Girl made her debut in X-Men: Legacy #245 in 2011, brought to life by the acclaimed creative team of Mike Carey and Clay Mann. Over a surprisingly durable twelve-year span, she's turned up across prestige mutant publishing lines like New Mutants, Reign of X, and Trials of X, keeping extraordinary company alongside the likes of Illyana Rasputina and Victor Borkowski. With only 14 catalogued appearances she's a rare find β the kind of cult figure that dedicated Marvel readers quietly treasure, a small but persistent thread woven through some of the most ambitious corners of modern X-Men storytelling.
