Extraordinary X-Men

In the wake of the Terrigen Mists’ spread across the globe, the X-Men find themselves on the brink of extinction, with mutantkind’s very existence threatened. This 2016–2017 Marvel series, primarily written by Jeff Lemire and featuring art by Victor Ibáñez, Humberto Ramos, and Guillermo Mogorron, follows a desperate team led by Storm as they seek refuge in Limbo, the demonic realm of Illyana Rasputina. There, they face not only the threat of the M-Pox but also internal conflicts among members like Jean Grey, Iceman, and Colossus, making it a tense, character-driven chapter in the X-Men’s struggle for survival.
