Three young mutants clash against a pair of looming, shadowy creatures on Martin Simmonds' striking cover — crackling white energy arcs wildly around them as one figure wields a blade aloft, another draws a bow, and a third braces with hands outstretched, glowing power at the ready. The contrast between the warm, smoldering orange background and those dark, hulking silhouettes gives the whole image a genuinely tense atmosphere. Writer Vita Ayala and artist Rod Reis continue their run on this 2021 Marvel series, with this issue centered on Krakoa's welcome of Gabby Kinney.
