Graydon Creed
Graydon Creed is the all-human son of two mutants — Sabretooth and Mystique — whose hatred of his own parentage drove him to found the Friends of Humanity, a virulent anti-mutant organization. After being stranded in an alternate dimension by his father, he grafted alien technology onto his body, transforming himself into a cyborg.
Emerging from the mutant-saturated chaos of Marvel's early 1990s, Graydon Creed made his mark in Stryfe's Strike File #1 (1993), courtesy of a powerhouse creative team that included Fabian Nicieza, Scott Lobdell, Larry Stroman, and Andy Kubert. A fixture across The Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, and X-Force, he's kept some of Marvel's most iconic company — sharing pages with Wolverine, Storm, and Hank McCoy — which speaks volumes about the charged, high-stakes corner of the Marvel Universe he inhabits. With two collector-recognized key appearances and a presence that has endured from the Copper Age all the way through 2024, Creed is one of those figures whose footprint in X-Men history runs deeper than his page count might suggest. If you're tracing the political and ideological fault lines that run through the X-books, Graydon Creed is a name worth knowing.
