In the 1960s, Finnish publisher Kirja-Mono brought Superman's adventures to a new audience with Teräsmiehen Poika (1961–1969), a 86-issue series that collected translated stories from the Silver Age. Anchored by the work of legendary writers Jerry Siegel, Edmond Hamilton, and Otto Binder, alongside artists George Papp, Curt Swan, and John Forte, these comics introduced Finnish readers to the Man of Steel's cosmic and earthbound exploits.
