Roachmill

In the late 1980s, Dark Horse published Roachmill, a 10-issue series that blended surreal horror with dark comedy. Written and drawn primarily by Rich Hedden and Tom McWeeney, with additional art by Rick Veitch, the comic followed a bizarre, insect-like protagonist through a decaying, nightmarish world. Its underground sensibility and grotesque, imaginative visuals made it a cult oddity of the era, standing out for its unapologetically weird tone.
