“The Hunt For Ms October Part 2”

Roachmill goes out with a bang — and a laugh — in this final issue, cover-billed as a "Last Issue! Collector's Item!!" The gloriously chaotic cover by Rich Hedden and Tom McWeeney packs the streets with the series' oddball cast: a muscular figure in polka-dot underwear leaping center-stage, a crowd of bizarre creatures reacting in various states of panic and bewilderment, a sign proclaiming "The End Is Only 32 Pages Away!," and an Unemployment Office lurking in the background as if the whole neighborhood saw this coming. It's a fittingly anarchic send-off for a Dark Horse series that clearly never took itself too seriously — and even comes with trading cards inside.

Ms October is still on the rampage and it would be convenient for the Mayor if Roachmill was caught in a crossfire.
