From 1941 to 1945, Quality Comics' Military Comics was a wartime anthology that introduced the world to the Blackhawks, a multinational squadron of ace pilots led by the enigmatic Blackhawk himself. With core members Olaf, Hendrickson, Stanislaus, Chuck, and the controversial sidekick Chop-Chop, the series delivered high-flying, two-fisted adventures against Axis forces.
