“The Man in the Iron Mask”

In "The Man in the Iron Mask," the Blackhawks return to the site of their comrade Andre’s presumed death, only to uncover a prisoner known as Iron Face—later revealed to be Andre, his face grotesquely scarred. As Blackhawk rescues the brilliant but unhinged Dr. Fritz von Rath from a Nazi concentration camp, the mystery deepens, setting a tense and personal stage for the mission ahead. Written by Dick French and illustrated by Chuck Cuidera, with lettering by Sam Rosen, the cover by Cuidera captures the grim intensity of this wartime thriller.
